I love Gracie and Luke. She’s been neglected and hurt. A lifetime of being told she’s not enough has left an indelible mark. Luke, a Daddy Dom, is drawn to Gracie but is afraid he’ll either scare her off or it’ll end in disaster and cause problems with their friendships.
Olivia Fox is amazing at building Daddy/Little relationships, she’s really good at making sure to show both sides and make it clear how its safe, sane and consensual.
But its not just that, even if you’re not a Little, (I’m not(, you can’t help be drawn into the sensuality and intimacy that a D/s scene creates.
Olivia is one of my favorite authors, she’s really good at character building, creating believable characters that stay consistent but also evolve and grow with the story. Even when she throws in a plot twist into the works, the way it works its way out, is within the way the characters would do it. It’s not some Mary Sue things.
Also, she knows how to seriously write some steamy hot sex scenes. Be warned, NSFW!
